The Czech Stop & Little Czech Bakery is Located "Deep in the Heart of Texas" in the
little hamlet of West and is a rest stop for those lucky folks traveling Interstate 35.
It is a big Shell Service Station (Open 24 hours 7 days a week!), Internationally Known
Czechoslovakian Bakery (That bakes fresh seven days a week!), Hot Deli, Grocery Store
(Selling beer & wine!) and Souvenir & Gift Shop (Texas Greeting Cards!) all in one. It
will make you feel as if you're in a European Bakery with it's Czech music and it's
Czech sausage at this little Texas Czech Bakery but with a big Texas friendliness and
personality added. There are trays and trays of freshly baked goods everywhere
including Breads, Cookies, Pies, Pound Cakes, doughnuts and all kinds of puffy things.
"The Czech Stop is well worth a rest stop visit since they were voted Best Kolaches on
I-35 and have the Best Restrooms on I-35, but just make sure you take your insulin
