How are your Greeting Cards and Christmas Cards sold? All Caddylak Graffix Greeting Cards and Christmas Cards are sold individually. You do not have to order any amount of the same card; you can mix-and-match any cards that you want. All cards come with envelopes and with each increment of 25 cards you will get a free extra envelope. Where does old Caddylak Maxy get his ideas for Art, Art Products, Cartoons, Greeting Cards and/or Christmas Cards designs? Ideas has never been a problem because “lucky me” I get to draw fun subjects that I identify with such as golf, Texas, Fishing, Armadillos, Santa, Easter Bunnies, Pilgrims and Thanksgiving Turkeys. Using Greeting Cards and Christmas Cards as my canvas allows me to draw my favorite subjects and this motivates me and begets ideas. I also go on a lot of road trips throughout Texas and America in my Caddylak-mobile and get a lot of ideas on these fun excursions.

Who influenced you the most? That would have to be my fantastic family of loving aunts and uncles, loving grandparents, my little sister and my great dad and mom. All my life these wonderful people sent me Greeting Cards for all occasions and seasons and it gave me great pleasure and happiness. I’m very lucky to have had such a considerate family. That’s why I’m drawing and publishing Greeting Cards and Christmas Cards today… Because I loved to get them and I know how much pleasure they bring folks.

I’ve seen your cartoons for years. What do you like to draw the best? I like to draw Santa, Golfers, and Easter Bunnies but if you’re going to make me choose it would have to be the Armadillo that I call the “Old Texas Armored Road Kill” or “Hoover Hawg”. What is “Caddylak” Max Gathings’ definition of happiness? Old Caddylak Maxy believes happiness is inward peace and to attain this inward peace one must do good things for others. By sending his Humorous Greeting Cards and Christmas Cards one makes other folks happy. This makes Old Caddylak Maxy happy and you just put a buck or two in his pocket and this makes him very-very happy.

What Greeting Cards do you prefer creating? All Greeting Cards are fun to do and I do love them all. Christmas is my favorite Holiday Season but I think Get Well Cards, Texas Cards, Armadillos Cards and Birthday Cards give me the most pleasure creating, although I love them Halloween Cards, ‘cause Halloween is such a Hauntingly Hoot and Spooky Special fun time!

What made you decide to draw humorous Greeting Cards? It’s jus’ me! I love funny Announcements, comical Invitations, funny Father’s Day Cards, “Make Mamma Smile” Mother’s Day Cards, etc. and I love making people laugh. I believe everybody loves getting Happy Greeting Cards and my drawings and captions make me laugh.
