Caption Contest Big Winners
After careful analysis of the captions presented by the contestants, Caddylak Maxy and his judges are pleased to announce the following winner: Cheryl Thompson of Fort Worth, Texas. Cheryl's winning caption was: (Outside) Old age is a lot like chewing tobacco... (Inside) Both wrinkle up and smell like hog's breath. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Cheryl will receive 25 free greeting cards of her choice after she e-mails us at caddylak@caddylakgraffix.com and tell us what cards she would like to receive. Congratulations Cheryl Thompson!
It was a very close race and some of the close finalists were:
- Stephanie Kermes of New Middletown, Ohio. Stephanie's caption was: (Outside) Retirement is not always pretty... (Inside) Have a great retirement!
- Amy Downs of Brocklyn, New York. Amy's caption was: (Outside) You may not have my looks... (Inside) But with the passage of time you'll get there. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Congratulations to the winner and the finalists and our thanks to all who submitted their thoughts in July/August 2007! If you are not among the winners, don't despair as we will be holding two more new contests every two months. The prizes are the same fun prizes and you'll get another shot at them.
